‘Anderson Live’ show appearance
According to the website for “Anderson Live” with Anderson Cooper, Meg is one of the upcoming guests on the new season of the show, premiering in CBS September 10th. No doubt it has to do with the PBS/Half The Sky documentary – read more new details about it here at PBS – premiering on PBS October 1st and 2nd.

New PBS / Half The Sky footage – part 2
This is the second new clip for the PBS / Half The Sky series, in which Meg talks about Somaly Mam, NY Times journalist Nicholas Kristoff and using fame to raise awareness for issues like this.
“Meg Ryan meets Somaly Mam, a Cambodian human rights and anti-sex trafficking advocate dedicated to ending the epidemic of sexual slavery. After encountering a girl whose infected eye wound made her “undesirable” to clients and led to her eviction from the brothel, she describes the importance of using celebrity to raise awareness of these issues.”
