I seem to be one of the few people who likes Meg’s movies from this period; from Hanging Up to Against the Ropes. For me she just got better and better, and it was a real shame she felt she had to take a four year break (2003-2007); because they could have been some of the best years of her career.
Meg’s heartfelt performance in this film is one of my favourites and it’s even more poignant watching it now and realising Hanging Up was Walter Matthau’s last film.
Would anyone else like to see Meg work with Diane Keaton again?
YES! Would love to see her work with Diane Keaton again. They’ve stayed friends. So who knows! We can always hope!
