With thanks to one of our visitors, here’s a link to [click] and quotes from an audio-interview from earlier this week with John Mellencamp’s longtime guitarist and main band member, Mike Wanchic, in which he also was asked about Meg and had this to say about her:
Q: “So, now he’s out there and I know he’s been hanging with Meg Ryan these days. Does she go out on tour with him?”
A: “Wonderful girl. She comes out a lot. She is absolutely a fantastic person.”Q: “Is she into the music?”
A: “Loves it, yeah. And she’s a brilliant woman, she’s a fantastic girl. It’s great to see them together.”
Nice comment, Cute how he calls her a “girl” lol
That is cute sammy and Meg is, was, and always will be “The Girl” as far as I’m concerned:)
The members of John’s band are obviously enamoured with her and we all know she’s got a wonderful voice, I wonder if she might provide vocals on one of their songs in the future.
I agree it was nice of him to say, certainly went a lot further than just a standard “she’s a nice person”
I don’t think we’ll ever have to worry about Meg singing though, LOL! She has a nice speaking voice but not good as a singer
