The movie Kate and Leopold, starring Meg with Hugh Jackman, will be released on Blu-ray this spring. Go here to watch the trailer for this lovely rom-com from 2001.
“In April, Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release the director’s cut of Kate & Leopold on Blu-ray. This romantic comedy stars Hugh Jackman (The Prestige) as Leopold, a 19th Century duke who accidentally travels through time and ends up in modern-day New York City, where he begins to court career woman Kate (Meg Ryan). Directed by James Mangold, the film also features Liev Schreiber, Breckin Meyer, Natasha Lyonne, Spalding Gray (Straight Talk), and Bradley Whitford.
While Lionsgate has yet to specify the Blu-ray’s technical details, the disc will have the following bonus supplements: Audio commentary with Mangold.
Deleted scenes with optional director’s commentary. Behind-the-scenes featurette. Costume featurette. Photo galleryKate & Leopold is expected to street on April 10th.”
It will be cool to see to what the director has to say about Meg.
I still haven’t seen Kate and Leopold so I think I might have to make it my first Meg Ryan Blu-ray purchase.
While K&L is not Meg’s best romcoms, I did enjoy it very much! Esp also thanks to Hugh Jackman!
